THE BURGVILLA
In 2020, the world stopped spinning, or so we like to say when the global pandemic began. It left us, as many, with existential questions, but then we began to dream again and as we moved forward another house became available on our street. Throughout the 2 years of lockdown in Germany, we renovated, dreamed and renovated some more. The end product is our BurgVilla (Burg Loft & Self contained Burg Apartment combined), and we hope you can come enjoy some of our newest dream soon.
The BurgVilla, is our BurgLoft combined with an additional self-contained apartment. They date back to the 1500, where they were once the old spengler house on the street. It is now a renovated guesthouse that sleeps 13 -15 guests in 5 cozy bedrooms. The Gallery and living room are the heart and soul of the house where one can’t help but feel warm and gemütlich next to the wood burning oven. The open floor plan leads right into the kitchen which is also connected to the dining room with a large hardwood dining room table. Two modern bathrooms, one upstairs, and one downstairs with walk in showers and a large terrace that has unparalleled views to the Chiemgau Alps and the old Auerburg Ruins. The Apartment down stairs has two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and walk in shower. The five bedrooms are unique unto themselves with handmade beds and furniture. There are 3 - 4 parking spots available (depending on car size) and more parking is avialable 250 meters away.
